I’m a gal that likes her outdoor spaces, whether it be porches, decks, 3 season rooms, etc. So I’m always trying to find ways to spend more time outside especially during the summer season! I would love to have a front porch because our front yard is massive but the cement pad leading to our entryway is too small to add any sort of furniture. We could increase the pad size but that would take out existing awesome landscaping plus, cement is expensive!
Instead I tried to use the natural landscape of our yard to add a seating area without actually having a front porch. First I bought a super reasonable side table and chairs set on Amazon. They were so easy to put together but they felt kind of randomly set in the yard even though I placed them near one of our large trees. I wanted to spruce the area up a bit to make it feel a little bit more like an outdoor room so I bought some super cheap planters from Target and some outdoor pillows and plants from Lowe’s to help delineate the space. Now it’s perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the neighborhood!
