I’ve been back to dreaming up different nursery ideas just for fun and I thought I’d share my latest, a Pat the Bunny nursery theme. I love this book and it holds fond memories for me so I thought why not design a nursery around it? In case anyone is interested in using this as inspiration, I tried to make it as budget-friendly as possible because babies are expensive enough! I hope you like it!
If you can’t tell from the mood board, I was thinking of using the blue paint only on the top third of the wall and leaving the rest white for a nice pop of color. The paint color is Benjamin Moore’s Winter Green for those who are curious. Here are the sources for the rest of the items:
Pendant light | Bunny mobile | Bunny print | Bunny quilt | Crib | Moon pillow | Bunny changing table cover | Peach fitted sheet | Teepee shelf | Dresser | Bunny night light | Blocks | Rocking chair | Peach pillow | Hooray pillow | Rug | Pouf | Pat the Bunny book
Total cost of the Pat the Bunny nursery: approximately $1,800 – yikes! You could lower this to closer to $1,000 by finding a Craigslist dresser and painting it the same coral color. I love a good bookish theme for a nursery – I’ll definitely try to add a few more in the coming months.
