So I’ve been rocking the traditional mom hairdo, the messy bun, pretty much since June’s been born. It works for me since I don’t have to worry about drying my hair, it’s out of my way, and looks decent (most of the time). Lately, I’ve been bored with this same ‘do everyday so I decided to change up my routine. After testing out some easy and quick hairstyles I wanted to share these quick ‘dos in case anyone else is in a hair rut. All of these limit the time spent on tresses and I figured could be helpful to a lot of ladies (moms aren’t the only ones who need to get ready super-fast)!
- Double-knotted ponytail – so easy, and it almost looks like a braid!
- Easy side bun
- Pull through braid – a friend posted her hair like this on social media so I found a tutorial and tried it. So cute, quick, and not really a braid at all!
- Pull through braid as a bun – love this option as well!
- Lastly, you can’t go wrong with hair tucked into a headband!
Also, for those of you who love your messy mom buns I thought the below tutorial was an interesting (and easy) twist on how to make a perfectly messy bun.
What do you think? After watching all of these tutorials, I think I need to find a better inexpensive dry shampoo – anyone have any recommendations? Do you have a favorite easy hairstyle that’s your go-to?
