As I mentioned previously, we decided on a Star Wars nursery theme (see the inspiration board here). Today I’m excited to show off June’s happy little pink, blue, gold, and grey room!
I don’t think we have enough kids books! These photos were taken before we got our grey IKEA rocking chair which now occupies the empty corner in the room. We also hung up a cute little ukulele in a matching dark wood. See the updated area below:
I also love the crocheted blanket gifted to us by my cousin that matches the color scheme of the room perfectly!
Check out the cute little collection of Star Wars pillows and stuffed animals. All of the stuffies were gifts including the pastel pink teddy bear that I turned into an ewok with some pale blue felt and a glue gun.
This curtain that we use to hide June’s closet was handmade by moi! I stamped all of those blue x-wing fighter planes by hand while 9 months pregnant. Making these was no easy feat as crouching with a big belly is quite uncomfortable as you can probably imagine!
This baby mobile was another crafted item. I hand colored a light grey lantern with a dark grey marker to create the Death Star. It wasn’t difficult but it was definitely tedious. June loves looking at her mobile now so I suppose my work paid off! Lastly, I wanted to share this collage from my Star Wars themed baby shower that was definitely over-the-top.
A giant Darth Vader toy, pink R2D2 diaper cake, and adorably frosted Wookie cupcakes?!?! So, there is June’s pink Star Wars nursery and coordinating baby shower which was a costume party no less (as it was Halloween). May the 4th be with you!
